Nautilus Canvas

Privacy policy

Last updated October 11, 2026

The short version: if you join the mailing list, we keep your email address and use it only to tell you about Nautilus Canvas. We don't run analytics, ads or tracking cookies, and we never sell or share your information.

Who we are

Nautilus Canvas is made by Thomas Headrick, an independent developer in Canada. "We" and "us" on this page mean him. You can reach us at [email protected].

What this policy covers

This policy covers the nautiluscanvas.studio website and the Nautilus Canvas mailing list. The Nautilus Canvas app is local-first and keeps your work on your own computer. Before the app is released, this page will be updated to cover it too.

What we collect

That's all. The site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send you news about Nautilus Canvas, such as the beta opening, the release, and major updates. We never sell, rent or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Services that handle your information

We rely on a few providers to run the site and mailing list. They handle your information on our behalf, not for their own purposes.

These providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States.

Stored in your browser

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.

Unsubscribing and deleting your information

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we'll tell subscribers by email first.
